About the workshop
The purpose of this Workshop is to familiarize with Multisim Platform and HDL Programming on FPGA boards like Nexys 4DDR and Zed board using Verilog.
In this workshop you will learn about design of combinational circuits like basic gates, multi bit adders, multiplexers, de-multiplexers, decoders and encoders with consideration of area, power and speed issues. Then there will be a demonstration of these designs using Multisim tool platform. Later FPGA implementation of these combinational circuits will be done using Verilog HDL on Xilinx platform.
Next we start with design of sequential circuits such as Flip-flops, counters and later we move on to the design of Digital clock with multisim tool demonstration. Further we move on to implement these circuits on FPGA using Verilog HDL on Xilinx platform.
About FPGA board
A Field Programmable Gate Array is an integrated circuit used to prototype digital VLSI circuits for practical verification of functionality and timing issues. The FPGA configuration is done by using Hardware Description Language.
About Multisim Tool
Multisim Tool is an Electronic Design Automation tool used to simulate circuits and verify the functionality.
Duration: 6 hours
Certification: Certificate will be provided at the end of the workshop.
